Terms of Service

Rivie (rivie.org) is Digital SAT practice run by an individual based in India (“Rivie”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Rivie, you agree to these terms. If you have a question about them, write to help@rivie.org.

Your account

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use Rivie.
  • If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you, and any purchase must be made by them or with their permission.
  • An account is for one person. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens on your account.

Free and Pro

The free plan costs nothing and needs no card. Pro is a subscription billed every month, every 3 months or every 12 months, at the price shown before you pay.

  • Pro renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. We charge the payment method you used at checkout.
  • You can cancel anytime from Manage subscription on your Pro page, or by writing to us. You will not be charged again, and Pro stays on until the end of the period you have paid for.
  • If we change Pro’s price, we will email you at least 14 days before the new price applies to your subscription, so you can cancel first if you want to.

Launch offer

If you subscribe to Pro before the end of 31 December 2026 (Pacific time), the 30% launch discount applies to that subscription’s first payment and every renewal, for as long as the subscription stays active. If you cancel and subscribe again later, the price at that time applies.

Payments

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Dodo Payments. Dodo Payments is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and handles payment, billing, taxes and payment-related customer service. Depending on where you live, sales tax or GST may be added at checkout. We never see or store your card details.

Refunds

You can get a full refund on any Pro payment within 7 days of being charged, no questions asked. See the refund policy for how.

Using Rivie

Rivie is for your own SAT study. Please don’t:

  • share or sell your account, or let others use it;
  • copy, scrape, download in bulk or republish Rivie’s questions, explanations or reports;
  • use bots or automated tools to access Rivie, or try to get around its limits or security;
  • use Rivie to cheat on any real exam.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. If we close your account for any other reason, we will refund the unused part of any Pro period.

Scores and content

Rivie’s scores are estimates for practice. They are not official SAT scores, and we do not guarantee any score on the real test. SAT® is a registered trademark of College Board, which is not affiliated with Rivie and does not endorse it. Lesson videos are YouTube videos made by their own creators and are covered by YouTube’s terms.

Changes

We improve Rivie all the time, so features may change. If we change these terms in a way that matters to you, we will say so on the site or by email before the change takes effect. Using Rivie after that means you accept the new terms.

Liability

We work hard to keep Rivie accurate and available, but it is provided as is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction. This does not remove any protection you have under the consumer law of the country where you live.
